When the current president was elected, I was devasted. I decided to resist in my own private and public ways. My first action was to dye my hair rainbow-colored. Next, I stopped shaving my legs and switched to a plant-based diet. I attended several rallies, including the first and fourth women's march on Washington. I call my representatives in Congress regularly.
My main act of resistance, though, is my artwork. I began making portraits of people in or related to 45's administration. Then, I added portraits of significant departures from this administration. One of those portraits is in the art show Rituals of Resistance. The details are below:
