Reinhold Richard Priebus, former chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), was an early critic of candidate T****. Priebus did not support 45’s Muslim ban, his stance on immigration, nor the way he talked about women. When 45 became the party nominee, though, Priebus got behind the future president and did all he could to ensure 45’s election. Once in office, Priebus struggled to fulfill his responsibilities as chief of staff due to limited access to the president. Forty-five said that Priebus was unable to push through his legislative agenda. After just over six months on the job, the president tweeted that he was dismissing Priebus.
