Not only is Daniella Levine Cava the first woman mayor of Miami, but she is the first person of Jewish descent to hold this position.
 
I made this portrait out of non-recyclable trash and repurposed materials. Women have been considered second-class citizens and relegated to the trash heap for too long. I am raising women through my art by making garbage into something beautiful.
