John Michael "Mick" Mulvaney held four different positions under 45: director of the Office of Management and Budget, director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, acting chief of staff, and special envoy to Northern Ireland. 
 
Mulvaney tended to dispute facts that didn't match his ideology: he claimed that the Obama administration manipulated unemployment numbers, despite the lack of evidence, and he cut block grants to Meals on Wheels, even though the program improves the diets of its recipients and offers food with high nutritional value. 
 
Mr. Mulvaney said that the Capitol riot of January 6, 2021, was an "existential" threat against the country. He resigned the day after the insurrection.
