This artwork is one in a series of people who were the first in their cohort to attain their specific governmental elected or appointed positions. I made this in 2021. In 2020, a record number of "first" were elected and appoint to such roles. The most famous was the VP — Kamala Harris.
Taylor Small was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives from 2021 until 2025.
